Nestled in the rolling pastureland and lush woods of East Texas, you’ll find charm, warmth and an abundance of Texas hospitality at Selah Inn at the Ranch. There are not enough adjectives to describe the 17,000 square foot ranch that houses the most amazing private bedrooms you have ever seen. The ranch is graced with inviting common areas throughout the house, including a massive stone fireplace taking center stage in the great room. It will take most of the week to explore all that the ranch has to offer.

You’ll find cattle & wildlife grazing the more than 1000 acres of ranchland that make Selah Inn an amazing retreat experience anytime during the calendar year.

WHAT TO DO
  • Take a hike around the lake.
  • Have the time of your life fishing from one of the privately stocked lakes scattered around the ranch.
  • Swing by the 24-hour beverage bar for a cool drink.
  • Explore the ranch on one of the all terrain golf carts.
  • Try your skill on the 36-hole professionally designed Frisbee golf course located on the the ranch.
  • Pull up a chair ... spend time listening for the still quiet voice of God in shade of the veranda, gardens, or patios.

Getting here...

Only two hours from the DFW metroplex area in beautiful, Northeast Texas.

From Dallas:

Take I-30 East to Mt. Vernon, Texas (exit 146), State Highway 37. Proceed North on Highway 37 9.5 miles to County Road NW 1050. Turn East on FM NW 1050 proceed 3/4 mile to Selah Ranch entry and CR NW 1051.

From Paris:Go Highway 271 Southeast to Bogata, Texas. At Bogata, take State Highway 37 South, approximately 12.5 miles to County Road NW 1050. Turn East on FM NW 1050 and proceed 3/4 mile to Selah Ranch entry.

From Tyler:Take Highway 69 North to Mineola, TX. Continue North from Mineola on State Highway 37 to County Road NW 1050 7.5 miles North of Mt. Vernon. Turn East on FM NW 1050, proceed 3/4 mile to the Selah Ranch entry.

 

The Details...

Retreat Timeframe. Retreats begin at 6:00PM on Sunday evening and end on Friday at 10:00AM

Meals. Three meals are prepared each day beginning with a continental breakfast. The midday community meal is prepared by our personal chef and is something you definitely will not want to miss. Evenings bring out a generous buffet that the perfect way to cap off your day.

Rooms. All rooms are well appointed and come complete with private bath.

Cost. The cost for the five-day retreat, including meals and all amenities is only $495.

Cancellation Fee. If a reservation is cancelled 31+ days before a retreat there is a $25 fee. This fee increases to $100 if it is canceled within 30 days of your reservation.

For those those who need a little help covering the cost of their retreat, all you need to do is tell us a little about yourself, tell us why a retreat is important to you at this point in your ministry and let us know how much of the cost you are able to cover on your own before the scholarship is awarded.

***Scholarships are awarded based on need and the availability of funds in the Scholarship Program fund.
