You may choose to support PRN with a structured gift or one made beyond your lifetime by designating a very personal planned gift.
A bequest in your will, estate plan or revocable trust is the most frequent choice. The bequest can be for a stated amount of cash, a stated percentage of the estate, a specific piece of property or through the residuary clause of your will.
A charitable remainder unitrust or annuity trust pays a life income to the donor. The donor gives cash, securities, real estate or tangible property to Pastors Retreat Network and receives a specific payment for life based on the fair market value of the trust assets. In addition, the donor receives a charitable income tax deduction, avoidance of capital gain taxes and estate tax savings.
Through a charitable gift annuity, you give cash or securities to Pastors Retreat Network in exchange for a life income. The payments are based on the amount of the gift and your age(s). You receive an income tax deduction, possible estate tax savings, partial tax-free income and reduced capital gains taxes if appreciated securities fund the gift.
Other types of planned gifts include life insurance, charitable lead trusts and gifts of property with or without retained life estate. Our planned giving representative welcomes the opportunity to work with you or your estate advisor on a plan that matches your philanthropic interest and estate planning needs.
