If you are experiencing problems in trying to complete this form
please read on. If you continue to experience problems after trying the suggestions below, please call us and we can complete your registration over the phone.
Timeout error
The most common problem encountered in using our registration form is an error that appears saying "You're request has timed out due to 20 or more minutes of inactivity". This will occur, as the error states, if you have a registration screen open for 20 minutes or more and then try to continue your registration. If you have your registration page opened for a long period of time and see this error, simply start the process again and complete it a little more quickly.
This error can also occur if you have instructed your browser to block "cookies" (more about cookies below). So if you are seeing this 20 minute timeout error immediately after beginning the registration process, please check your browser settings and make sure it is set to Accept cookies. In order to complete the registration form, all that is required is that you allow "Session" cookies -- "First-party" and "Third-party" cookies can still be blocked if you prefer.
What are cookies?
Cookies can be used in a variety of ways, but their function is simple: to allow a web site to store small amounts of information to your computer and allow it to retrieve that information later. That may sound like a privacy issue for you, but keep in mind that it is only the cookie that can be written to and read from. A Web site can't access anything on your computer except a cookie that it created or has been given access to. Basically a cookie is a memory device - a way for a web site to remember you.
How does Pastors Retreat Network use cookies?
Pastors Retreat Network only uses what are called "Session Cookies" Session cookies are the least intrusive of cookies because they are deleted from your system 20 minutes after your activity on the site ceases. Session cookies are used in the registration form to help our system remember your responses from one page to the next so that we can present an easy-to-use multi-page registration form rather than forcing you to fill out all your registration information on one very long page. If you block session cookies, however, our system will not be able to find that information from one page to the next and therefore thinks that you have gone 20 minutes without activity. Pastors Retreat Network does not sell or share any of the information obtained from these session cookies to any third party and it is used solely to assist you in requesting an invitation to our retreats.
