Located 100 miles east of Dallas and minutes from I-30, Selah Inn at the Ranch continues our long tradition of ministry in Texas. Rooted in the rolling pasturelands and lush woods of East Texas, you'll find warm Texas hospitality and a gracious retreat home. Spacious common areas, generously sized guest rooms with luxurious private baths, an Austin stone Great Room with fireplace, and lots of nooks and crannies bring the outdoors in even on a rainy day.
Cattle and wildlife share two square miles of ranchland and all creation shouts God's name—quietly of course. You can hike, fish, explore the ranch, or settle in a rocking chair to reconnect with God and others. Gardens and patios offer comfortable places for solitude or quiet conversations.
At Selah Inn at the Ranch you'll find exquisite food, impeccably kept rooms with wonderful views, a 24-hour beverage bar and the quiet space to hear God speak. Open year around, you'll enjoy the seasons Texas-style.

Dave and Candy Hickerson purchased this property from Dandy Don Meredith and began rebuilding the lakes and fence and dreaming of the place this could become, a retreat from the city for their family and friends. God had other plans for this land and the small family ranch home became a 12-room beautifully appointed retreat facility.
Watch the sun set over the lakes or look up at millions of stars visible far from city lights. Listen to water splash over rocks along the creek. Bird-watch or take in the spectacular show of wildflowers in the spring and early summer. Miles of trails are great places for a hike, run or bike ride.
Less than 10 minutes away is Mount Vernon, the home of the Dandy Don Meredith Museum and a variety of other museums and galleries. Antique shops, restaurants and histsorical sites round out this small Texas town. Numerous parks and natural areas and a few golf courses are within a 30-minute drive.
Mount Pleasant is another wonderful place to explore, sample excellent Tex-Mex cuisine or enjoy its lakes and parks and the historical courthouse square complete with a Confederate Monument.
Tyler is a comfortable drive away and offers the amenities of a larger city for that special date with your spouse.
