Located about 30 minutes west of Milwaukee in the quaint town of Delafield, Cedarly is a completely restored turn-of-the-century home resting on the shores of Upper Nemahbin Lake. Six beautifully appointed guest rooms with private baths and spacious common areas reflect the simple elegance of life a century ago. Also on the property is the Woodshed Prayer House, often used by local pastors and open to retreat guests, when available. The Upper Room, dedicated June 22, 2008, is available to larger groups for prayer and meetings.
Enjoy the beauty of the four seasons as you wander six and one-half acres of wooded grounds, canoe on the lake, bike along tree-shaded roads or sit on the screened porch and watch the birds at the feeder. Wildlife is varied and plentiful.
At Cedarly, we plan every detail for your enjoyment—from the clean, comfortable rooms (each with a gorgeous view) to the fabulous food prepared by our personal chef. The retreat center operates year round, with each season bringing its own special charms.

Cedarly Pastors Retreat is located near Delafield, Wisconsin. Enjoy the beauty of the four seasons in this quaint little community in the heart of Lake Country. Late fall and winter guests find the warmth of the fireplace inviting, and many pastors come to enjoy the special solitude of this season.
For hearty walkers, downtown Delafield is about two miles from Cedarly and offers a variety of restaurants, antique shops, boutiques and outlet stores. En route, you can stop at a small park and examine the active fish hatchery.
St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy, founded in 1884, offers an educational experience for students in 7th though 12th grades. Stop and watch its weekly Cadet Parade or play nine holes on its public golf course for a very modest fee.
A 10-minute walk in the other direction is Nashotah House, an Episcopal Seminary. One of the first settlements in the area, it was founded in 1842 as a mission to the local American Indian tribes. Still an active seminary, you are welcome to walk its grounds, visit its library and chapel, and absorb its ancient serenity.
Narrow, winding roads provide a safe and scenic route for walks and bike rides. Overhead, picturesque trees provide shade and habitat for many kinds of wildlife, and now and then the sound of water reaches the listening ear.
Numerous county and local parks, some with golf courses are within a 10-minute drive of Cedarly, and one of Wisconsin’s most recognized churches, Holy Hill, is about 35 minutes away.
And for that special “date night,” Milwaukee offers all of the amenities of a large city without many of the traffic hassles. World-class sports facilities, art centers, museums and hundreds of ethnic restaurants provide opportunities for creating wonderful memories with your spouse.
From Milwaukee:

Continue on Main Street for about 1 mile to Mill Road and turn right. There is a "Rustic Road" sign on your right just before the corner. Follow Mill Road to 2841 Mill Rd. A pine tree on the mailbox with a reflective letter "C" on it and a "Cedarly" sign on the gate mark the driveway. Turn left into the gate and follow the drive as it angles to the left and you will come to the Guest Entrance. There is an abundance of wildlife on the property so proceed slowly.
